About the Artist

Born in Germany, Antje completed an apprenticeship in a salt-glaze pottery, in Stadtlohn. Following her immigration to Canada, she studied Art and Design.

Upon making her residence in Port Sydney, Muskoka, she worked as a potter’s assistant for 10 years before opening her own studio, in 2000.

In 2010, Antje relocated to Tiny Township, near the shores of the beautiful Georgian Bay, devoting herself to full time pottery at her home based studio.
